Geoffrey Sirett’s musical concentration is in classical voice and vocal pedagogy. He is emerging as one of Canada’s leading young baritones, highly sought-after across the country for concert and opera. His 2014-15 season included over 70 performances across Canada, including engagements with Victoria Symphony, Theatre of Early Music, Winnipeg Symphony, Talisker Players, Canadian Art Song Project, Orchestra London, and Opera de Montreal.
Geoffrey’s 2015/16 season highlights included MERRY WIDOW (Edmonton Opera), DAMNATION OF FAUST (Calgary Philharmonic), and CARMEN (Edmonton Opera), Geoffrey’s 2016/17 season included TURANDOT and ELEKTRA with Edmonton Opera, ELIJAH with Pax Christi Chorale, APOLLO E DAFNE with Toronto Masque Theatre, MESSIAH with Newfoundland Symphony, and Weill’s SEVEN DEADLY SINS with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. Most recently, Geoffrey made his debut at the Canadian Opera Company in Strauss’ ARABELLA. Additional recent engagements include HMS PINAFORE with Edmonton Opera, and the world premiere of THE OVERCOAT with Canadian Stage Company, Tapestry Opera, and Vancouver Opera.
