Relax & enjoy an hour long concert on a beautiful June night with Cantabile’s special ‘summer chorus’.

The Cantabile Summer Chorus presents an hour-long concert entitled “in the evening”, with music that is perfect for a beautiful June night. This special two-week choir camp for adult singers, which is directed by Mark Sirett, will present music by Bach, Victoria, Rachmaninoff, plus selections of Liebslieder Waltzes (“Love Waltzes”) by Brahms, and Canadian folk songs. Contemporary selections include “Let the River Run” by Carly Simon, “When the Earth Stands Still” by Dan MacDonald, and Bruce Sled’s rhythmic and upbeat “Jing-ga-lye-ya”. Joining the choir will be Clare Miller, piano; with a guest appearance by pianist, Michel Szczesniak for the Brahms Waltzes.
Admission is free; donations at the door would be appreciated.
