Ensuring every singer has access to the power of music

Cantabile Choirs is committed to removing financial barriers so that every child and youth can participate in our programs. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we provide confidential, needs-based bursaries each season to support registration fees, uniforms, and other participation costs.

No family should hesitate to apply — our bursary program exists because we believe every young person deserves the chance to sing, learn, and belong!

Who Can Apply?

Families with financial need, including:

• Households with limited income or high expenses

• Newcomer families adjusting to life in Canada

• Single-income or single-parent households

• Families experiencing temporary financial difficulty (job loss, illness, etc.)

If cost is a concern, you are eligible to apply.

What Does a Bursary Cover?

Bursaries may assist with:

• Full or partial membership fees

• Uniform costs

• Concert attire

• Other participation-related expenses

Support amounts vary based on need and available funds.

How to Apply

1. Complete the confidential bursary application form (you’ll be sent one when you enroll)

2. The Artistic-Executive Director reviews applications. We might reach out to you to learn more about your situation and how we can best support you.
