Cantabile will be hosting virtual concerts throughout the season. These streams – which include the Virtual Choir performances  – include archived concert recordings from the last 24 years, plus interviews with choristers, alumni, Dr. Sirett, and more.

Cantabile is recognized nationally and internationally for its creative programming. The richness and diversity of global music is explored in this delightful early concert that includes music by a Cantabile favourite, the unique and energetic Stephen Hatfield.

Songs of Erin (2001)

Celtic heritage is long cherished by Cantabile choristers and audiences alike. Beloved and delightful melodies from Ireland, Wales, Scotland and Canada’s East Coast will be heard along with arrangements by Founding Director, Mark Sirett, created especially for Cantabile.

For this special presentation, we’re celebrating the works of honorary patron and frequent guest artist, Bob Chilcott. Bob is one of the most celebrated contemporary choral composers and one of our favourite people. What better time to celebrate Bob’s music than April 9th… his birthday!
Bob joins us (virtually, of course) for this livestream to talk about his music, his inspiration, and his history with Cantabile.
