Parent & Tot Music
Cantabile offers early childhood music education programming for young children and their grownups!
Parent & Tot Music gives young children (0-4 years old) a creative, fun, and interactive introduction to music education. Building on the foundational concepts of researched-based methods such as Kodaly & Orff, Parent & Tot Music is designed to foster love and appreciation of music for the youngest ones… and keep the grownups learning too! Instructors

Monday & Thursday Classes
Larissa Koniuk has decades of training and experience as a music educator, performer, and as Artistic Director of an innovative indie opera company called The Bicycle Opera Project.
A mom with two young children, Larissa developed a new early childhood music program that draws inspiration and methodology from a number of well-known, research-based music programs for children. She pairs these concepts with her own philosophy and pedagogy, developed over 14 years of private voice and piano teaching in Toronto & Kingston.
Larissa holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Wilfrid Laurier, and is a member of the Ontario Registered Music Teachers Association (ORMTA).

Saturday Classes
Anna Donevan has many years of experience teaching children music. As a trained Early Childhood Music Educator, Anna finds great joy in seeing children thrive with music. Children are naturally drawn to music, and it is a joy of Anna’s to be a part of their musical journeys.
Anna also has a background in environmental education and has worked in this field in both Ontario and British Columbia. Merging the two passions of music and nature education, Anna teaches children the foundations of music through songs, poems, and dance with themes of nature. Anna also enjoys songwriting and composes music with young children in mind, often accompanied by her young son.
Anna has a Bachelor of Science from Queen’s University, and is a trained Early Childhood Music Educator through Musikgarten. She loves working with children of all ages, particularly little ones.
